The P-mag lab is excited to work with new M.S. student Katharine Solada over the next couple years. Katharine will be studying the paleomagnetism of lake sediments sampled from the Toba Caldera, Indonesia, working with OSU Volcanologist, Shan de Silva, and Joe Stoner. This past summer, Katharine traveled to Indonesia to collect oriented paleomagnetic samples and has begun to measure their natural remanent magnetization here at OSU. We look forward to seeing her results!
