The P-Mag lab welcomes two new graduate students, Deepa Dwyer and Alyson Churchill. Both are in the beginning stages of their PhDs, Deepa is working with Dr. Joe Stoner looking at sediment samples from Exp. 341 in the Gulf of Alaska and Alyson is working with Dr. Stoner and Dr. Moe Walczak researching OC1706B off the coast of the PNW. Deepa received her Masters in Science at Montclair State University in 2013 and then became the manager at Liberty Science Center for STEM programs till 2019. Alyson graduated from Colby College with a Bachelor’s in Geology in 2019. We are excited to see what new discoveries their projects reveal!
